I’m not too sure about the new deftones CD “diamond eyes”. It doesn’t really stick to their roots as a unique group. Their powerchord heavy riffs sound rather outdated. Its difficult to listen to this without thinking its been done a thousand times before. I’ll admit that chino’s vocals really save the day. The only thing I can hear that makes me think old deftones is the stranger than hell time signitures. Gotta love that stuff. Its really unfortunate that they made this turn in their music. I would really have liked to hear old deftones or killer new ideas. O well. There’s always next time deftones.
So I am boarding my 1st plane of two on my way to Atlanta for aphios national convention. I am super excited to have a window seat but then there was a mixup and I got swindled Hahaha. Nbd. Still on my way to the other side of the country.

I haven’t been keeping up with this very much lately.
I keep thinking of lyric ideas while I’m at work, and then I tooooottaaaaallllllllllyyy forget them. So that sucks.
Lately I’ve been trying new things, trying to find myself and who I am. I really enjoy meeting new people and doing new things. So if you have anything you wanted to try, ask me to do it too! :P

I don’t feel very receptive today- Underoath
This song is a little bit older underoath, but it really kills. Underoath is so together in their timing and execution. The breakdown in it is probably the best breakdown live, because the bass drops out and the guitars harmonize and you feel yourself smile inside.
Most people don’t like screaming, but give it a listen, the lyrics are pretty good if you can get past the screaming. :)
This song takes me back to the days when I was in high school, and I would blast this song and get pumped, and feel like anything was possible.
